5 Holiday Looks to Sleigh This Season!
If being obsessed with Christmas makes us basic, then take your Grinchy self outside because there’s no room that kind of negativity in our lives this holiday season (or any time of year really). For all of Santa’s little helpers that want to get their holly jolly on and poppin’, we’ve rounded up some creative Christmas looks for you to try! Ranging from wearable to down-right over the top, we hope you have merry time recreating these fun and festive looks—come on, do it for the gram!
The Cold Never Bothered Me Anyway
This eye makeup look is serving some serious Elsa vibes! For any ice queen that wants to make your lover’s heart melt, we suggest trying this out. @makeupbyalinna used Sugarpill Cosmetics eyeshadows, Lit Cosmetics glitters, Lilly Lashes’ “So Extra” lashes, NYX Cosmetics liquid liner in white for the snowflake details and she topped it all off with some gems purchased from Michael’s! We love a crafty queen. Create a custom ombre eyeliner by setting a liquid liner in festive glitter. The white crease adds depth to the dark blue hues and the dramatic lashes are the perfect finishing touch.
Balls of Holly
We are fa-la-la-la-LIVING for this look. @ese.milan, who hails out of Honolulu, Hawaii, never disappoints with his creative tutorials. Be your own Christmas tree this year with a lit look he created using Make Up For Ever’s Flash Palette, BPerfect Cosmetics’ Carnival XL Palette, YSL Beauty’s All Hours Foundation, Jeffree Star Cosmetics’ Magic Concealer and Lilly Lashes’ “So Extra” Miami. Shine bright by using highlighter all over your ornaments and cheekbones to look extra snatched. We all know that if you rocked this makeup at your family’s annual Christmas party, you could avoid some awkward political discussions and be the true center of attention that we all deserve.
Snow Bunny
The perfect party (in our humble opinion) involves wearing onesies indoors and watching Christmas movies! If you’re viewing the 24-hour annual “The Christmas Story” marathon, why not get a cute bunny outfit and blow everyone’s minds by being Ralphie Parker meets Ru Paul. @yire_castillo is giving us life with this festive, fun eye look. For the green eye shadow, he used shades Daddy and Social Blade from the James Charles x Morphe Brushes Artistry Palette; for the lips he used Christmas Cookie by Jeffree Star Cosmetics; and for the fun ornaments, he used liquid liners in various colors for a fun trim (we love decorating anything for the holidays, our eyes, the tree, the mantel … we could go on and on). We love this, Yire!
